Wanderlust | Nanjing & YangZhou

LAST Chinese New Year (yes last, so slow to share!), we joined a few good friends to visit Nanjing and YangZhou.  We bought tickets to visit the palace in Nanjing, but it was SO crowded, we ended up leaving without seeing anything!  Luckily, we still caught the night market in the evening that was bustling with lights and street food.

On the way back to Shanghai, we stopped by a “town” (a bit city actually) called WuXi.   We visited the main attraction – a huge beautiful park – albeit very overpriced at 120 RMB.   But the weather was great, and the park was quite empty, and it was a lovely afternoon well spent with good company.

Here are a few favourites.
