Last month, we drove to Munster, for a mentoring session with my very own wedding photographer, Jennifer Hejna. It’s almost 3 years since our wedding, it was so lovely to see this couple (husband and wife team) again. We were welcomed warmly and started the afternoon with delicious lunch (the thinnest pizza I’ve ever had, this pizza was obviously made for me!!!). And unlike most europeans / belgians – these 2 SHARED pizzas with us!! I was like – really? I don’t have to eat it on my own? we to get to share!! Such a small thing, but I love it when food is shared, its such a communal thing and you get to try so much other stuffs – just like in Asian cuisine. Anyways, now I digress.
We spent the afternoon first with some meaningful questions, that left me with more questions to think about. And then we learnt all about posing, finding beautiful light, and taking beautiful portraits indoors. It was such a lovely afternoon – shooting together, and also getting to know these 2 a little more than photographers. Thank you for a wonderful time and for being an inspiration. I hope I get to see them again soon. So here are a few favourites from this afternoon, so very proud of these images if I may say so myself! ; )
p.s. Jennifer also just started a new business with personalized home décor: Mein Monogram, check if out if you are looking for an elegant and classic personalized gift.
